More than 10,000 people were killed in a devastating cyclone that tore through Burma in May. The cyclone Nargis caused the worst natural disaster in the recorded history of Burma.

 

Cyclone Nargis slammed into Myanmar's main city on Saturday, ripping off roofs, felling trees and raising fears of major casualties.
