A nursing home in Northeastern China's Jilin city is raising eyebrows because 10 of the 12 windows on its outer walls are not real, but merely painted onto the wall, Chinanews.com reported on Thursday.

From the online photos, three rows of windows have been painted on the side walls of the orange building, which makes them hard to tell from the real ones. But up close, however, its clear that they are fake.

"The windows were already there when we moved in a year ago," an employee at the care center in Jilin was quoted as saying. "We think they look pretty good so we didn't do anything to them."
