China's education development: A senior citizen's perspective

China has seen great development in education over the past 70 years. Every ordinary Chinese citizen has something to say on the subject. For example, Li Yarong, a 76-year-old retired diplomat, told china.org.cn her concepts of educational progress since the founding of the People's Republic of China when she was a small child.
