Recently, the opening ceremony "Fashionable Hehuachi Prepares for a Better Future" & 2021 Asian Fashion Brand Festival was held at Hehuachi Market in Jinniu District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province.

Jinniu District will take this ceremony as the driving force to accelerate the building of a world-renowned "metropolis of fashion brands, a base of Sichuan-style clothing and a trading center in Western China", oriented by concepts of innovation, design and release in fashion industry, and guided by industry-university-research academic seminars.

2021 marks the 31th anniversary of Hehuachi Wholesale market. Now, the market and its neighboring area have been upgraded and renewed, leading to new breakthroughs in regional image, industry, and scenes with a new look. The initial transformation of the traditional old market to modern commercial district is achieved, with the commercial competitiveness and scale of the market's brand comprehensively improved, laying a solid foundation for the construction of the Rongbei business district.

In addition, in the past few years, Jinniu District of Chengdu has been adhering to the concept of comprehensive development of the area, implementing in-depth urban organic renewal, and relying on the upgrade of the Hehuachi area to create five major scenes of fashion shopping, unique blocks, park creativity, Hanfu experience, and cultural experience. It also built five platforms for research and design, fabric trading, digital manufacturing, fashion release, and Internet celebrity live broadcast. At present, there are more than 400 enterprises, more than 15,000 businesse and more than 100,000 employees, with the annual turnover reaching nearly CNY 100 billion.
