China has established maritime cooperation with more than 50 countries and international organizations to offer public services such as tsunami warnings to countries around the South China Sea. The country also donated its Global Land Cover Datasets which could provide high-resolution mapping data to the UN. China also pushed for Paris Agreement negotiations and enforcement, and pledged to reach peak carbon emissions by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2060. In recent years, China conducted more than 200 foreign aid projects that address climate change, and allocated 1.2 billion yuan ($185 million) for South-South cooperation on climate response. It provided energy-saving and new energy products and equipment to nearly 40 countries, and trained over 2,000 officials and professional personnel specializing in climate response from 120 developing countries.
