Beijing opened four foreigner exit-entry service centers on Thursday in the districts of Mentougou, Fangshan, Pinggu, and Miyun, bringing the total number of such service centers to 21, according to the Exit and Entry Administration Bureau of Beijing Public Security Bureau.

The newly established foreigner exit-entry service centers can handle the extension, renewal, and reissuance of nine types of visas for visits, family reunions, studies, and other purposes. They can also issue, extend, renew, and reissue four types of residence permits for work, study, family reunions, and personal affairs, as well as issue, renew, and reissue stay permits.

The centers will help to improve the city's business environment and visa services for foreigners.
