Beijing will debut as the thematic city at a Chinese mainland publishers zone of the upcoming 34th Hong Kong Book Fair, which is to be held from July 17 to 23 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center. Themed "Film and Television Literature," the book fair will include over 600 cultural activities. 

Covering some 150 square meters, the Beijing exhibition booth will have an area for thematic events, a book exhibition and sales area, and an area for intangible cultural products. About 3,000 books from 12 Beijing-based cultural organizations, including Beijing Publishing Group, will be on display. 

Activities such as launching ceremonies, new book releases, and dialogues with writers will be held during the book fair. These events aim to showcase the capital city's charm as the national cultural center and international exchange hub, and promote cultural exchange between Beijing and Hong Kong.
