The Bairin Right Banner Power Company under the State Grid has taken multiple measures to ensure power supply for agricultural irrigation during the summer season, according to a seminar held on July 18.

The Bairin Right Banner area has a power load of 102,700 kW, of which the agricultural sector accounts for 18.58%. In the event of drought, the figure would surge to 56.32%, putting considerable pressure on local agricultural irrigation.

In April, the company conducted electricity usage inspections and on-site visits in the area, involving 2,349 households and issuing 135 notices. 

Having established a technological development team, the company has achieved grade-based, category-specific, and real-time monitoring of agricultural irrigation.

Other measures taken by the company have included holding government-enterprise meetings, urging local governments to introduce policies, and organizing emergency drills.

The company will check summer irrigation power zones and lines using drones and manual methods, in order to ensure stable power supply for local farmers.

"Our 160 acres of seedlings are growing well, and the power company's staff helped us check the electrical equipment," said Du Qiang, a local villager. "Their service was excellent."
