On Wednesday, Luohu hosted a special event for its Cultural and Art Month, featuring six major sections and totaling over 70 events. The highlights include a blend of international flair, Chinese tradition, and the latest trends from the Greater Bay Area.

Coinciding with the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival, the Cultural and Art Month will host a variety of music performances such as the "Full Moon Tonight" concert, the "Our Festival Mid-Autumn" folk music concert, and the Mid-Autumn Ritual Music—an intangible cultural heritage concert, all fostering a festive atmosphere of reunion and celebration. In addition, the 2024 Greater Bay Area (Shenzhen) Youth Drama Month will take place in September, offering audiences a chance to enjoy plays and Peking opera from across the country.

Di Xuran, Vice Chairman of the Shenzhen Dramatists Association and Director of the Creation and Compilation Department at the Luohu District Cultural Center, emphasized that drama is a cultural hallmark of Luohu. This year, following the principle of "immersing in life and connecting with the people," the second Greater Bay Area (Shenzhen) Youth Drama Month will feature a rich variety of performances.

Sun Chengyi, Chief Curator of Shenzhen International Photography Week, announced that the fifth edition of the event has received nearly 8,000 submissions, from which over 400 outstanding works have been selected. Several public lectures by renowned photographers will also take place during the week. The exhibition serves not only as a platform for promoting the exchange and growth of photographic art between China and the world but also as an opportunity for local residents to admire the works of global photography masters up close.
