Recently, the third annual Luohu Charity Week, along with the Luohu Philanthropy Plan, was officially launched at KK TIME in Luohu District, Shenzhen. This event, organized in response to the 20th anniversary of Shenzhen's charity efforts, aims to mobilize local businesses, social organizations, and residents to participate in charity activities, focusing on the integration of charity and consumption.

At the launch ceremony, the Luohu Charity Association signed framework agreements with four companies to collaborate on the Luohu Philanthropy Plan. Through partnerships with businesses, this initiative introduces innovative ways for the public to engage in charity, such as point-based donation systems and charity-linked sales. By merging charity with daily consumer behavior, the plan seeks to enhance both charitable participation and economic growth in Luohu.

Since 2019, the Luohu Charity Association has actively promoted community-named charity funds, encouraging capable streets and communities to establish their own funds. To date, 15 community funds have been created, with a total capital of 7.8 million yuan. These funds help integrate charitable efforts into grassroots community governance. In 2024, new funds will be established in the Shuibei and Xincun communities of Cuizhu Street and the Tianxin community of Sungang Street.

During the event, plaques were awarded to recipients of the "Charity Home" and "Community Fund" honors, with "Luohu Social Innovation Space" being recognized as the district's first "Charity Home." A major highlight of the event was the integration of charity and consumption, exemplified by a charity marketplace featuring 35 booths, organized into sections for social organizations, charity shopping, and lifestyle. Each booth radiated the spirit of giving, creating a vibrant atmosphere of "charity for all."

In recent years, Luohu District has continuously advanced its philanthropic efforts by encouraging social organizations to take a more active role. Through three consecutive social innovation projects, Luohu has nurtured 55 outstanding programs, benefiting 10 local communities and two partner regions, further promoting the integration of social organizations into the district's philanthropic landscape.
