On Friday, Luohu unveiled a brand-new Luohu Cultural Tourism Map at a special launch event for the National Day travel season.

The Luohu Cultural Tourism Map offers three standout features. It includes landmark attractions, shopping centers, transportation hubs, hotels, and local delicacies. Besides the main map, it offers three sub-maps centered on food, accommodation, and shopping. There are five themed routes with ten distinct travel itineraries, providing diverse options for sightseeing, dining, and leisure.

The highlight is the "Reform and Opening-up" route, showcasing Luohu’s role as a pioneer in China's reform era, with landmarks that chronicle this journey. Starting from Shenzhen Station, visitors can check in at the Luohu Port and admire the Luohu Bridge, explore Yumin Village to witness China's first 'millionaire village,' and ascend the International Trade Center Building and the Diwang Mansion, both iconic symbols of Shenzhen's rapid development. Finally, visit the "Three Fast Trains" Museum in Sungang to rediscover shared memories between Shenzhen and Hong Kong.

The "Immersive Cultural and Art" route allows visitors to travel along Shennan Avenue, from west to east, and enjoy a concert at the Shenzhen Grand Theater, dubbed the "Palace of Fine Arts." They can also explore the Shenzhen Book City (Luohu), watch a performance at the Shenzhen Theater, or visit the Fifth Shenzhen International Photography Week at Luohu Art Museum for an immersive cultural experience.

For those interested in food, the "Street Food Adventure" route is a must. You can sample delicious dishes at the popular "Chicken Pot Street" in Xicun Village or savor authentic Cantonese and Hong Kong flavors at the numerous restaurants on Renmin South Road and Fenghuang Road.

The Dawang Xinqiao Bridge, which opened on September 26, makes it more convenient for tourists to reach Wutong Mountain in the Dawang Wutong Area. Known as the first peak of Shenzhen, Wutong Mountain offers lush hiking trails and panoramic views of the sea and city.

The Dawang Wutong Area also boasts the largest camping cluster in Shenzhen. Here, you can enjoy outdoor picnics, archery, and games, or take a scenic helicopter tour from the Wangtong Campground.

Around 4,000 copies of the Luohu Cultural Tourism Map will be distributed across hotels, transportation hubs, attractions, and shopping centers in the district. Visitors can also access an electronic version through the "Luohu Release" and "Luohu Culture and Tourism" WeChat accounts.

From October 1st to 7th, at 8 PM each evening, Shenzhen will host drone shows at five different locations, featuring a total of 10,000 drones. In Luohu, visitors can enjoy the show at Luohu Sports and Leisure Park and East Lake Park's Azalea Garden.

“We will launch 2,000 drones to showcase intangible cultural heritage elements such as fish lantern and lion dance, combined with scenes from the original Shenzhen dance drama 'Wing Chun' and diamond imagery representing Luohu's jewelry industry,” a spokesperson said.

To celebrate the National Day holiday, Luohu is launching a series of shopping promotions. “This year, we’ve designed three shopping routes: ‘Trade-in for New,’ ‘Gold and Jewelry,’ and ‘Fashion Trends,’ offering citizens and tourists greater convenience and savings.”

Major home décor stores in Sungang will offer special trade-in deals, allowing shoppers to select their ideal renovation plans and enjoy one-stop service. Jewelry enthusiasts can enjoy various activities to explore the unique charm of Shuibei's gold and jewelry industry.
