On Wednesday, the 2025 Shenzhen Spring Festival Flower Market opened. The streets are adorned with lanterns and blooming flowers, exuding a festive atmosphere that draws crowds of residents and tourists, immersing them in the joyful spirit of the Spring Festival.

This year, the flower market features seven themed zones, including flowers, dining, cultural and creative products, traditional Spring Festival goods, festive snacks, New Year gifts, and pet products, with a total of 339 booths.

Adding a special touch, a humanoid intelligent robot infused with technological elements greets visitors at the entrance, enhancing their experience with a modern twist on the traditional celebration.

The market’s overall design is inspired by the Song Dynasty aesthetic. Visitors can admire exquisite floral sculptures at the entrance, in the central section, and at the end of the market.

Thousands of lanterns in various shapes and colors hang overhead, creating a dazzling display. As night falls, walking through the market feels like entering a city of a thousand lights.

This year, the market also incorporates cutting-edge digital technology. Projection mapping turns the walls of nearby high-rises into vibrant canvases, painting a stunning nighttime scene. Suspended in mid-air, a naked-eye 3D screen displays festive animations, with a lively snake frolicking in the sky.

Over the course of seven days, the flower market will host a series of activities, including Yingge snake dance parades, lion dance performances, pet street walks, God of Wealth parades, paper-cutting workshops, lucky lettering burns, and New Year-themed photo booths.

This festive event invites everyone to experience the charm of tradition combined with modern innovation in a vibrant celebration of the Lunar New Year.
