On Feb. 19, the 14th China International New Media Short Film Festival, the 1st China TV Drama Production Industry Conference, and the 10th China (Shenzhen) International TV Drama & Program Fair kicked off in Shenzhen. During the event, leading film and television enterprises from Luohu district will present their latest achievements and participate in industry exchanges, further driving the sector's growth.

In recent years, Luohu has actively fostered the integration of its cultural sector with commerce, tourism, and digital creativity. The district has rolled out targeted policies for digital content, cultural industries, tourism, and film and animation to accelerate industry expansion. By revitalizing existing spaces and developing new facilities, Luohu is unlocking millions of square meters for industrial use. At the same time, it is strengthening the entire film and television industrial chain—spanning content creation, investment, production, marketing, distribution, and broadcasting—to establish a solid foundation for sustainable cultural development.

To further advance the industry, Luohu introduced the "Ten Measures to Support High-Quality Development of the Film and Television Industry" in 2024. This initiative promotes the incubation of promising enterprises, supports the development of industry parks and specialized office spaces, and encourages technological innovation and micro-short drama production. By creating a structured, full-cycle support system, the policy provides a clear growth trajectory from startup incubation to market expansion. Whether emerging businesses or established industry leaders, all players in the film and television sector can benefit from Luohu's comprehensive support, reinforcing the district's position as a dynamic hub for cultural innovation.
