Retired Chinese basketball superstar Yao Ming attends a meeting of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) in Shanghai on Feb. 27, 2013. He will leave Shanghai for Beijing to attend the annual CPPCC conference scheduled to open on March 3. It will be Yao's first time attending the conference as member of the CPPCC National Committee.
