China pledged to build a global anti-corruption cooperation network and is mulling legislation on international criminal and judicial cooperation, a spokesperson for the annual session of China's top legislative body said Wednesday.

China, as a signee to the United Nations Convention against Corruption, pledged to advance global cooperation within frameworks such as the APEC and G20, Fu Ying, spokeswoman with the third session of the 12th National People's Congress (NPC), told a press conference.

Fu also said China is mulling its own law to assist international criminal justice.

"The main idea is to make full use of international mechanism and international law, to ensure the corrupt fugitives face the music no matter where they are," Fu said.
