The issuance is the ministry's 15th batch of book-entry treasury bonds this year, according to a statement posted on the MOF website.

The interest rate for the bonds is fixed at 3.39 percent.

Interest will be paid on Aug. 23 and Feb. 23 each year, while the last half year's interest and the principal will both be paid upon maturity on Aug. 23, 2022, the ministry said.
