China's State Council approved on Friday to set up a cross-ministry joint conference working on the establishment of a unified property registration system.
The conference will coordinate major issues concerning the establishment and implementation of a proposed property registration system.
Chaired by the Ministry of Land and Resources, the conference is supposed to hammer out guiding principles and policy suggestions, and conduct research on the draft of related laws and regulations.
The conference consists of the Ministry of Land and Resources, the State Commission Office of Public Sectors Reform, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Ministry of Agriculture, the State Administration of Taxation, the State Forestry Administration, the Legislative Affair Office of the State Council and the State Oceanic Administration.
