A Chinese radio station began broadcasting testimonies of Nanjing Massacre survivors on Monday to honor the state memorial day scheduled next month

In February of this year, China's top legislature designated December 13 as the National Memorial Day for Nanjing Massacre Victims, asking people to mourn the 300,000 victims killed by the Japanese in 1937.

Chen Deshou, 82 years old, told his memory of the massacre on the Jiangsu News Radio program as the first survivor.

He witnessed Japanese soldiers' murders of his father and aunt.

The radio will broadcast recordings of 29 more survivors, including Xia Shuqin, who lost seven family members in the massacre, Wu Xiulan, whose left leg was bombed by Japanese, and Zha Fukui, who got stabbed five times.Endi
