Jiangsu Suning stops winning streak of Guangzhou Evergrande in CSL

BEIJING, Sept. 17 (Xinhua) -- Wang Song scored in the 87th minute to help Jiangsu Suning to draw with defending champion Guangzhou Evergrand 2-2 in the 25th round of the 2017 Chinese Super League at home on Sunday.

Brazilian striker Goulart scored for Evergrand with his 20th goal of the season in the 11th minute off a pass from Xu Xin, before Yang Boyu swang in his header from a free kick in the 33rd minute to equalize for Suning.

Brazilian forward Alan put Evergrand ahead again in the 75th minute, only to see Wang Song to score the later equalizer to put an end to Evergrand's five-game winning streak.

In the other game of Sunday, Guizhou Hengfeng beat Henan Jian 2-1 at home. Liang Xueming broke the deadlock through a header in the 59th minute and Spanish striker Ruben Castro scored in the 72nd minute, before Portuguese forward Ricardo Vaz Te pulled one back for Henan Jianye in the 78th minute.
