RABAT, Oct. 17 (Xinhua) -- The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) strongly denounced on Tuesday the terrorist bombings that hit the Somali capital Mogadishu.

"The perpetrators of these bloody terrorist acts are spreading corruption on earth and opposing Allah and His messenger for they wantonly shed the blood of innocent people and destroy facilities," ISESCO said in a statement.

The Islamic organ also reaffirmed its solidarity with and support to the Somali government in combating all forms of terrorism and establishing security and peace in the country, the statement pointed out.

At least 300 people were killed and hundreds seriously injured in the attack blamed on militant group al-Shabaab. Enditem
