QINGDAO, June 24 (Xinhua) -- O.J. Mayo collected 28 points and seven rebounds on Wednesday, helping the Liaoning Flying Leopards end a two-game losing steak with a 104-87 win over the Shanghai Sharks in the 2019-2020 Chinese Basketball Association season.
Shanghai stormed to a 50-44 lead in the first half. However, they scored only 10 points in the third quarter, even lower than the 13 points scored by Liaoning's Gao Shiyan alone. After the third quarter, Liaoning turned the tables with a 76-60 run.
Shanghai launched a 6-0 run to narrow the gap to 10 points early in the fourth quarter, but O.J. Mayo's score helped Liaoning maintain a double-digit lead to the end of the game.
Liaoning had five players to score double-digits. Han Dejun also devoted 28 points together with 11 rebounds.
The Liaoning Flying Leopards will play the Zhejiang Golden Bulls on Saturday. Enditem
