SHENZHEN, June 25 (Xinhua) -- Customs authorities in Shenzhen, south China's Guangdong Province, said they seized more than 40 kg of cocaine in the city's port of Yantian.
The drug smugglers tried to camouflage the cocaine as frozen food products, and the drugs were transported from South America via Europe, according to customs.
Further investigation is under way.
Customs said they will continue to crack down on cross-border drug smuggling by strengthening risk assessment, intelligence analysis and international cooperation. Enditem
