BEIJING, Jan. 30 (Xinhua) -- Guangzhou Loong Lions shooting guard Chen Ying-Chun and center Ty Leaf were named Players of the Week in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league on Sunday.

Guangzhou won all three matches over the past week. Chen shot 49% from the field and averaged 21.3 points, 6.0 rebounds and 15.7 assists down the stretch. He registered 26 points, six rebounds and 22 assists against the Shandong Heroes, followed by 24 points, nine boards and 17 assists against the Shanxi Loongs.

Leaf posted an average of 30.3 points, 10.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 4.3 steals and 1.3 blocks by shooting 61.8% from the floor in 41 minutes, filling the void left by point guard Nathaniel Mason's absence.

After 28 rounds of play, Guangzhou ranks seventh among 20 outfits with a win-loss record of 18-10. Enditem
