BEIJING, Aug. 1 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Super League (CSL) side Guangzhou City announced on Monday that their next home game against league pacesetters Wuhan Three Towns will be played behind closed doors.

"Spectators will not be allowed to enter the Yuexiushan stadium to watch the match between Guangzhou City and Wuhan Three Towns on Saturday," the Guangzhou club said in a statement.

Guangzhou City currently sit second to the bottom in the CSL table with three points, 25 points behind Wuhan Three Towns.

The second phase of the CSL 2022 campaign, which is to start on Friday, will be on a home-and-away basis once again after the first phase was played on a centralized basis across three cities due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Seven teams, that are unable or unwilling to play their home games at home, have chosen Haikou, Hainan province or Dalian, Liaoning province as their home venues. Enditem
