SHANGHAI, June 29 (Xinhua) -- Wu Lei scored three goals to help Shanghai Port defeat Zhejiang FC 3-1, marking the team's 10th consecutive win of the season in the Chinese Super League (CSL) on Saturday.
Receiving Matias Vargas's pass in the box, Wu dribbled through the Zhejiang defence and scored the opener for Shanghai on 19 minutes.
However, Zhejiang was back on level terms nine minutes later, when Brazilian striker Leonardo volleyed home from Deabeas Owusu-Sekyere's header.
Shanghai retook the lead in the 67th minute, when Gustavo Henrique flicked on a corner kick, allowing Wu time and space to finish with an acrobatic bicycle kick.
In the 82nd minute, Vargas again assisted Wu with a long precise pass, gifting the latter an easy tap-in to seal the three points.
Elsewhere in the CSL, Nantong Zhiyun beat Wuhan Three Towns 2-1 to temporarily rise out of the relegation zone.
Nantong broke the deadlock in the 11th minute thanks to Izuchukwu Anthony's header. Issa Kallon doubled the lead for Nantong in the 87th minute, converting Song Haoyu's cross from the right.
Pedro Henrique's header in the last minute of stoppage time proved to be nothing more than consolation goal for Wuhan.
Also on Saturday, Tianjin Jinmen Tiger crushed Shenzhen Peng City 3-0. Enditem
