Chinese shares mixed at midday Tuesday

BEIJING, July 16 (Xinhua) -- China's major stock indices were mixed in the morning session Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.21 percent to 2,967.85 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index went up 0.21 percent to 8,819.99 points at midday. Enditem
