BEIJING, Aug. 16 (Xinhua) -- Changchun Yatai midfielder Peter Zulj has been suspended for three games after he stamped on an opposition player in a Chinese Super League (CSL) game last Saturday.
In the 73rd minute of Changchun's 2-0 home win over Wuhan Three Towns, the Austrian was sent off for stamping on Pedro Henrique.
Henrique was also sent off after he kicked Zulj in retaliation.
The Chinese Football Association said in a statement on Friday that it has slapped a three-match ban coupled with a 30,000-yuan (about 4,207 US dollars) fine on both players. Enditem
