BEIJING, Sept. 3 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese Football Association (CFA) announced on Tuesday that Guangxi Pingguo Haliao FC striker Gerson Rodrigues has been suspended for four games after he was sent off in a recent second-tier league game.
Rodrigues received a red card in the 28th minute of the match against Shijiazhuang Gongfu after he elbowed an opposition player on the chest.
The Luxembourg forward was also fined 40,000 yuan (about 5,615 U.S. dollars).
Rodrigues joined the Guangxi team this summer after leaving Dynamo Kyiv. Enditem
