Chinese shares close lower Wednesday

BEIJING, Sept. 4 (Xinhua) -- Chinese stocks closed lower on Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.67 percent to 2,784.28 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index closed 0.51 percent lower at 8,226.24 points. Enditem
