Guangxi Pingguo Haliao FC sacks sport director and assistant coaches

BEIJING, Sept. 29 (Xinhua) -- Guangxi Pingguo Haliao F.C. released a strongly-worded statement on Sunday to announce that its sport director and two assistant coaches have been sacked.

"Club sport director Wang Xiao was sacked, and from today on Wang Xiao has been relieved of all his duties in the club," the Chinese second-tier soccer club said in the statement.

"Assistant coach Du Zhenyu was dismissed with no chance of being recruited again by the club in the future," the statement read.

The Guangxi club said in the statement that it has demanded Du, a former Chinese international, to move out of the club premises and the accommodation provided by the club by Tuesday.

Another assistant of the club, Zhang Haifeng, was also fired, the statement added. Enditem
