BEIJING, Oct. 11 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese Football Association (CFA) announced on Friday that an official from second-tier football club Shijiazhuang Gongfu has been given a six-match stadium ban for verbally abusing a match referee.

According to a CFA statement, Geng Xiaoqian hurled abuse at a Nanjing City assistant coach in the 39th minute of their 1-1 draw in Sunday's league match.

He was consequently expelled after the match referee showed him a red card, the statement said.

In addition to the stadium ban, Geng was also fined 60,000 yuan for his offense. Enditem
