BEIJING, Oct. 18 (Xinhua) -- Shandong Taishan secured a 4-1 home victory over Tianjin Jinmen Tiger in Friday evening's Chinese Super League (CSL) action.
Liu Binbin struck first for Shandong in the 17th minute. Huang Zhengyu's long-range shot struck the post, but Liu was quick to pounce, slotting the ball into an empty net. 20 minutes later, Chen Pu delivered a precise cross, allowing Valeri Qazaishvili to head home from close range and double Shandong's lead.
Though Xadas halved the deficit for Tianjin early in the second half, Shandong's Cryzan maneuvered past a defender and finished with a precise shot less than a minute later to restore his team's two-goal lead, before completing the scoring with a cool finish in the 63rd minute.
In Friday's other matches, Zhejiang FC won 2-0 away to Wuhan Three Towns, Chengdu Rongcheng overcame Shanghai Port 3-1, and Shanghai Shenhua defeated Henan FC 2-1. With two rounds of matches remaining, Shenhua have retaken the CSL lead from their city rivals Port, and have a one-point advantage. Enditem
