BEIJING, Oct. 22 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese Football Association (CFA) announced on Tuesday that Qingdao West Coast has been given a fine for causing delayed kick-off in a recent Chinese Super League (CSL) game.

According to a statement released by the CFA, the Qingdao side failed to exit their dressing room to enter the field on schedule for their CSL game against Changchun Yatai last Saturday, leading to a delayed kick-off.

The Qingdao club was consequently fined 40,000 yuan RMB (about 5,600 U.S. dollars) for their breach of relevant regulations, the CFA said in the statement.

The Chinese football governing body also issued a warning to Tianjin Jinmen Tigers for their late arrival at the stadium for the CSL game against Shandong Taishan last Friday. Enditem
