SHENZHEN, Oct. 31 (Xinhua) -- A working group for low-altitude economy was inaugurated in Shenzhen, south China's Guangdong Province, as part of efforts to develop the low-altitude economy in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
This initiative is part of the Greater Bay Area standard innovation alliance -- a non-profit organization formed by diverse stakeholders from social groups, businesses, academia and experts.
The working group brings together various institutions, including the Greater Bay Area standard innovation alliance, Macao University of Science and Technology, the University of Hong Kong, South China University of Technology, Shenzhen Technology University, and the municipal market supervision administration of Shenzhen.
The group plans to create innovative technical standards tailored for the low-altitude economy, as well as develop experimental scenarios and expand commercial applications within the sector.
It also aims to nurture a skilled workforce knowledgeable in technology, patents and relevant standards, carry out standardization research in the sector, promote the integration with international standards, and provide strong support for the high-quality development of the local industry. Enditem
