HONG KONG, Nov. 14 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong stock market ended lower on Thursday with the benchmark Hang Seng Index down 1.96 percent to close at 19,435.81 points.

The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index fell 2.21 percent to end at 6,973.08 points, and the Hang Seng Tech Index dipped 3.08 percent to end at 4,318.32 points.

For the first time on Thursday, Hong Kong stock exchange kept its markets open when No. 8 typhoon signal was hoisted. Enditem
