BEIJING, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) -- Chinese stocks closed higher on Friday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.93 percent to 3,326.46 points.
The Shenzhen Component Index closed 1.72 percent higher at 10,611.72 points.
The combined turnover of these two indices stood at 1.71 trillion yuan (about 237.67 billion U.S. dollars) -- up from 1.49 trillion yuan recorded on the previous trading day.
Consumption and robot shares led the gains, while shares related to fuel gas sector were broadly lower.
The ChiNext Index, tracking China's Nasdaq-style board of growth enterprises, gained 2.5 percent to close at 2,224 points Friday. Enditem
