SHANGHAI, Dec. 4 (Xinhua) -- The annual Shanghai-Taipei City Forum is set to take place on Dec. 17 in Taipei, providing a platform for exchanging expertise and fostering collaboration in urban governance.
This year's forum will spotlight areas such as sustainable transportation, river management, and urban cultural development. During the event, the two cities are expected to sign new memorandums to strengthen ties and cooperation, according to sources with the Shanghai Municipal Government.
Since its inception in 2010, the forum has served as a vital platform for dialogue, with Shanghai and Taipei signing 45 memorandums of exchange and cooperation to date. Enditem
