Kyrgyz foreign trade turnover rises 3.7 pct in 11 months of 2024

BISHKEK, Jan. 14 (Xinhua) -- The volume of Kyrgyzstan's foreign and mutual trade in goods from January to November 2024 amounted to 14.6 billion U.S. dollars, up by 3.7 percent compared to the same period in 2023, showed data from the National Statistics Committee on Tuesday.

The growth in the volume of foreign and mutual trade was ensured by an increase in export deliveries by 21.3 percent, while import receipts decreased by 0.8 percent.

The volume of mutual trade with the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) member states (Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia) for the first 11 months of 2024 amounted to 4.5 billion U.S. dollars and increased by 9.1 percent compared to the same period in 2023, according to the official data.
