BEIJING, Feb. 2 (Xinhua) -- Beijing Guoan is focusing its preseason training on its first two Chinese Super League (CSL) rivals, Yunnan Yukun and Shanghai Shenhua, assistant coach Sui Dongliang said.

Beijing Guoan will play away to the Yunnan side in its season opener on February 22, before traveling to Shanghai to face Shenhua seven days later.

"Now the CSL timetable is available, and we will play our first two games on the road against Yunnan Yukun and Shanghai Shenhua. Our training is mainly focused on these two games," Sui said.

The Beijing side departed on Saturday for a two-week training camp in Thailand, which Sui described as crucial to its new-season preparations.

"We need to work more on set pieces and team tactics. We introduced some new players, including the foreign ones, and they need to find their feet with the team," he said. "Time is running out for us, so these two weeks are really important for our preparation." Enditem
