BEIJING, Feb. 12 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Super League (CSL) club Zhejiang FC announced on Wednesday that it has signed forward Tao Qianglong.

"Zhejiang FC has completed the signing of former Wuhan Three Towns' player Tao Qianglong," the Zhejiang club said in a statement, without giving any details of his contract.

"As a skillful forward, Tao Qianglong is versatile and can play multiple positions up front. He is agile, possesses excellent dribbling skills, and has a sharp instinct for goal-scoring opportunities," the statement added.

The 23-year-old striker, who has been a regular in Chinese national teams across various age groups, was first selected for the training roster of the senior Chinese side in August 2019.

Before his move to the Zhejiang side, he spent three seasons at Wuhan Three Towns.

Zhejiang FC will host newly-promoted CSL team Dalian Yingbo in its season opener on February 23. Enditem
