China, Kyrgyzstan to deepen law enforcement, security cooperation

BEIJING, Feb. 14 (Xinhua) -- Chinese State Councilor and Minister of Public Security Wang Xiaohong met with Kamchybek Tashiev, deputy chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and chairman of Kyrgyzstan's State Committee for National Security on Friday in Beijing.

China is willing to work with Kyrgyzstan to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, seize the important opportunity of high-quality Belt and Road cooperation, deepen practical cooperation in areas such as counter-terrorism, combating transnational crimes, border management and border inspection at ports, Wang said.

China is also ready to work with Kyrgyzstan to promote the safe and stable implementation of major projects such as the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan Railway, jointly safeguard the common interests of the two countries, and promote the building of a China-Kyrgyzstan community with a shared future, Wang added.

Tashiev said that Kyrgyzstan is willing to make joint efforts with China to push law enforcement and security cooperation between the two countries to a new level. Enditem
