BISHKEK, Feb. 26 (Xinhua) -- Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev met with his Turkmen counterpart Rashid Meredov in Bishkek, where Meredov led the Turkmen delegation to hold bilateral Kyrgyz-Turkmen political consultations, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday.
The ministers signed a cooperation program between the ministries of foreign affairs of Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan for 2025-2026.
During the meeting, they discussed current issues of Kyrgyz-Turkmen cooperation in trade, economics, investment, transport and logistics, energy, and other key areas, as well as the prospects for future bilateral cooperation.
Particular attention was given to organizing and holding upcoming high-level bilateral events, strengthening the legal framework, and enhancing cooperation within international organizations. Enditem
