JIANGYIN, China, April 9 (Xinhua) -- Chinese veteran Ye Xiang celebrated his third consecutive title at the IWUF Sanda World Cup which concluded here in Jiangyin, east China's Jiangsu Province on Wednesday.

Ye, known as the "Moving Hill" thanks to his 130kg weight, was invincible in the single-elimination men's 90kg+ category.

"I tried to keep sharp and flexible in my moves and hits. On the other hand, I have witnessed the improvement of other rivals. It is my third World Cup but I need to better myself in future training and competitions," said Ye, 29, who had claimed back-to-back titles in this category in the last two World Cups.

Consisting of seven athletes, China took seven gold medals to top the medal table at the end of the three-day event. Vietnam ranked second with four golds and two silvers, while Iran placed third with three golds and one silver.

The biennial IWUF Sanda World Cup attracted nearly 200 athletes, coaches, team officials, and technical delegates from 26 countries and regions. Enditem
