BEIJING, April 22 (Xinhua) -- China's disciplinary inspection and supervision agencies announced on Tuesday that they penalized 185,000 individuals in the first quarter of 2025, including 14 officials at the provincial and ministerial levels.
According to the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China and the National Commission of Supervision, a total of 220,000 cases were initiated in the first three months of this year.
During this period, agencies received 834,000 reports through letters and calls, with 231,000 related to complaints and accusations. Over 500,000 problem leads were addressed.
Authorities also provided criticism and education to 375,000 individuals. Enditem
