The
Shanghai Employment Information Center has published an
employment map for 2006 for job seekers following the seven-day
Spring Festival holiday.
This is the second time that Shanghai has issued an employment
map following its debut release last year.
The move aims to provide information for job seekers to avoid
fierce competition in certain districts or trades, according to
Tuesday's China Youth Daily.
The map consists of five regional blocks made up of the center,
southeastern, southwestern, northwestern and northeastern
blocks.
It also provides industry predictions, expert advice and trade
guidance information.
The Shanghai Employment Information Center plans to update the
employment map on the first working day after the Spring Festival
every year. The map will be posted on the municipal website under
public employment.
