Book on Multi-party Coop System Published
Adjust font size:

A book on China's multi-party cooperation and political consultation system under the leadership of the Communist Party of China ( CPC) has been published by the Unity Publishing House, in Beijing.

The writing of the book was organized by the Central Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang, one of the eight non-communist parties in the country.

A book-launching was held in Beijing on Friday, with the attendance of He Luli, a vice chairperson of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC), and Zhou Tienong, a vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).

He and Zhou are also chairperson and vice chairman of the Central Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang, respectively.

The Party's chairperson wrote the foreword for the book, and she called it a probe and trial on the past experience of the multi-party cooperation and political consultative system under the leadership of the CPC over more than half a century.

The history proves that the system has completely displayed the true nature of China's socialist democracy with the people as their own masters, and it is compatible to the country's own situation, she noted.
