China marks Martyrs' Day, end of Long March
Chinese President Xi Jinping and other senior leaders attended a ceremony Friday at the Tian'anmen Square in Beijing to honor and remember deceased national heroes on the Martyrs' Day.
Xi: Long March a 'stately monument'
Chinese President Xi Jinping has hailed the Long March as a "stately monument" in the history of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Xi made the remarks at a gathering on Friday to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Long March.
