The number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar has risen to 142,587, including 11 newly detected infections, according to a release from the Ministry of Health on Sunday.
No new deaths from the epidemic were recorded on Sunday, leaving the death toll unchanged at 3,206 in the country, the release said.
According to the official data, a total of 131,856 patients have been discharged from hospitals after they fully recovered, and over 2.55 million samples have been tested for COVID-19 so far in the country, including 1,184 samples on Sunday.
Myanmar reported its first two confirmed cases of COVID-19 on March 23 last year.
