Two crewmen in Taiwan tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday, though the source of their infection remains undetermined, the local epidemic monitoring agency said.
The two men, one in his 50s and the other in his 60s, were on board a cargo flight to the United States on April 14.
After returning on April 16, they were placed under three-day quarantine and thereafter tested positive for the virus.
To date, Taiwan has reported a total of 1,078 COVID-19 cases, of which 1,038 have recovered, 11 have died and 29 remain under treatment in hospital.
