        赵本山和老搭档宋丹丹一样，也是首次当选全国政协委员。他表示因为从农村走出来，所以特别关注“美丽乡村”的建设。赵本山说，提案的主要内容是：“穿得暖，吃得饱。有房住，能医病，能养老。有权益，冤屈少。有欢乐，风气好。山水美，污染少。”
